Spin Session for Two
Price is for two individuals who will join a group of up to eight others. Adults and teens 16+
Spin Sessions are held on Saturdays at 4pm and run 1.5 hours. You can use the drop down menu to choose the specific date you’d like. We cancel class if no one is signed up one week in advance of date.
Looking for a creative way to kick off a date night, bond with your workmates with a team-building event, or just have a fun friends’ night out? Want to try throwing on a pottery wheel? Our Spin Sessions are bite-sized, fun sessions that give you a taste of what it’s all about.
In this session, you will learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel with guided instruction! You will be provided with clay and 3 choices in glaze color. In 2-3 weeks you will be contacted to pick up the work or you can elect to have your work shipped directly to you (see details below).
BRING a hand towel! Wear something you don't mind getting muddy, or a change of clothes if you're heading out elsewhere for the evening. We'll provide everything else!
DIRECTIONS: Please do follow these directions to the studio. Don't rely on just Google Maps. It can be a bit challenging to find as the Mills can be confusing and Google Maps isn't always the most helpful. Visit this page for specific directions or call/text 207-200-4161 if you are lost!
SHIPPING: If you'd like your pieces shipped to you, we'd be happy to do that. Most every couple's work fits in a USPS Priority Mail Medium box which would be $20 plus $15 S&H. We would just need your mailing address where you can receive packages via the US Mail. If your items do not fit into a USPS Priority Mail Medium box, we will advise you of additional shipping fees.
BYOB: Feel free to BYOB if you'd like as long as each attendee is of legal drinking age.
ILLNESS OR BAD WEATHER: In the case of illness or even the hint of COVID, please DO stay home. We'll slide you into a future session. In case of bad weather, we'll have to book another Saturday.
